Assumptions
The new Results window is the equivalent of the Results and Planning Alternatives from the previous Goal Calculators. On the <Results> screen you first have a few assumptions to set up for this specific goal on the Assumptions tab. To read more on the Assumptions Tab please click here.

Results
The Results Tab is the same as it worked in the previous goal calculators. When you move from the “Assumptions” tab to the “Results” tab, the system will automatically launch the calculations to determine if the client has a surplus or a shortfall. In situations where the client has a shortfall, you’ll see how close they are to achieving their goal to the right where the “Percent of goal Achieved” is identified. A graphic can display the percentage of the goal achieved.

Planning Alternatives
This Planning Alternatives Tab allows the user to do “what if” calculations and alter many of the assumption used in the analysis. To read more on the Planning Alternatives Tab please click here.
Note: If there is a surplus (the goal is achieved), then no Planning Alternatives are available or required.
The most commonly used report for clients is the “Client Summary Report”. It provides all the key details of the analysis, without becoming overwhelming for the client.
